Hundreds of trick or treaters of all sizes and ages donned a colorful assortment of costumes for the annual Halloween Tailgate Trick or Treat last Thursday.
“It’s great fun, just great fun,” said Jo Richards, committee chair of the Roadrunners’ Tailgate Trick or Treat event.
“It’s been very successful. We’re very proud. That’s what the Roadrunners do.”
Due to the generosity of the nearly 60 tailgate participants, trick or treaters definitely got their share of sweet goodies.
“They go around two or three times sometimes,” Richards said.
This year, local artisan Don Henry organized a creative team to design and construct the Haunted House.
Henry credited local entertainer Kevin Ray Putzier for helping to make the attraction truly fun.
